My theory is that the GOP threw the election in both 2008 and 2012 in a weird, BS attempt to fix their reputation and so that the Democrats will be blamed for whatever economic downturn happens in the next 4 years. Taxes on the wealthiest SHOULD be lowest to non-existent as the wealthiest of us are the greatest benefactors to society in at least 3 ways:
1. the wealthiest employ greatest number of people
2. respond to consumer demand with products
3. lower the prices of products thus increase consumers’ standard of living!
Now, what do the poorest ones of us do for society that they should be exempted from taxes? nothing! So shut the fuck up
