Romney Campaign Genuinely Shocked at Loss – Politics Informer Video

“Mitt Romney’s campaign got its first hint something was wrong on the afternoon of Election Day, when state campaign workers on the ground began reporting huge turnout in areas favorable to President Obama: northeastern Ohio, northern Virginia, central Florida and Miami-Dade. Then came the early exit polls that also were favorable to the president. But it wasn’t until the polls closed that concern turned into alarm. They expected North Carolina to be called early. It wasn’t. They expected Pennsylvania to be up in the air all night; it went early for the President. After Ohio went for Mr. Obama, it was over, but senior advisers say no one could process it. “We went into the evening confident we had a good path to victory,” said one senior adviser. “I don’t think there was one person who saw this coming.”* Cenk Uygur expresses his surprise that the Romney campaign was surprised they lost, in light of several signs (polls, election night numbers) that were readily available for quite some time. *Read more from Jan Crawford/ CBS News: www.cbsnews.com Support The Young Turks by Subscribing bit.ly Support The Young Turks by Shopping bit.ly Like Us on Facebook: www.fb.com Follow Us on Twitter: bit.ly Buy TYT Merch: theyoungturks.spreadshirt.com Find out how to watch The Young Turks on Current by clicking here: www.current.com

  2. I blame Fox news and conservative media. Heres why
    1) They GENUINLY beleived everyone listened to their BS
    2) The honestly thought this was a center right country (wich it hasnt been for 10 years)
    3) They dont live in the real world. Even the liberals at msnbc said it might be a close election and said romeny might win. You didnt hear that at Fox
    4) they think that Obama was just a fluke and the economy is so bad therefore he couldnt POSSIBLY be re-elected
    5) they dont live nor report reality

  3. If you want to know the TRUTH on Romney, read the book “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters?”. Part II lays out the truth of Romney’s liberal record (he is to the left of Obama) and Part I is important to read because we all need to protect ourselves and our children from the well-masked cult of Mormonism. Did you know that Mitt truly believes that he will become a literal God?..equal to Jesus Christ? This is true, and we almost placed this deceived man in to the Office of the Presidency.

  4. I suspect that republicans rigged the voting machines as usual, and I know that they used lies to try and fool democratic voters into not voting. Maybe this is why they ignored the honest polls. Certainly republicans have gerrymandered the house – remember when they turned 10 democratic seats into republican seats in Texas just be redrawing district lines?

  5. Yeah, right… maybe they were going to do the same as in 2000 and 2004 when they rigged the elections and won fraudeulently! forgot about Florida? with ‘brother’ Jeb at governorship?? and this is no conspiracy hogwash, and you know it! this has happened in many other countries and this one is no exception! NO american had the balls to do anything about it! our country got raped by rich ‘american’ bastards, whom are free today to rip the benefits of their vile depredation while too many starve.

  7. Romney people genuinely shocked he lost the campaign? I’m genuinely shocked they have no depth of understanding of how disgusted the majority of Americans feel regarding his despicable psychopathic greed and cowardice in the face of Viet Nam military service. Just like Bush, Romney was a deserter in the face of the enemy when his country needed him most (but I must admit t I think he may have been born in Mexico- haven’t seen his birth certificate) Perdono mi Senor Willardo Mierda Romnyuez!

  8. They believed that Democrats weren’t going to out vote Republicans. They believe blacks, the youth, and Hispanics were going to come out big. I thought Latinos would come out big. I didn’t black would nationally, but in the swing states they would.

  9. Of course they believed they were going to win. They’re still living (mentally) in the last century. They haven’t a clue what is going on the real world because they aren’t a part of it.

  10. I prefer to call them RepubliKKKans. The Teabaggers were all KKK wannabes. Only the KKK is offensive, criminal and faintly ridiculous. But if you were a Teabagger you just were a patriot anti-big government.

And I REFUSE to call them the Tea Party. That was the real libertarian crowd of Ron Paul. Perfectly acceptable people following a guy who should have had a chance to try it his way.
