Jeff Sessions Asked Congress For Authority To Arrest Medical Marijuana Distributors – Politics Video

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has made getting rid of marijuana his top priority, but it is a priority that the majority of this country believes is a bad idea.  His latest efforts involve writing to Congress to ask for the authority to throw legal, medical marijuana distributors in prison, a move that would easily run afoul of the U.S. Constitution. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

  1. If you have nothing in your life that gives you happiness because you work at Carl's Junior 80 hours a week and still need food stamps…you would do anything to feel something other than awful. Give the working poor something more than 24/7 misery and the opioid problem will fix itself with inexpensive withdrawal treatment. I KNOW.

  5. It's not that he's stupid; it's that he's trying to prop up the private prison industrial complex. And since there's no logical argument to do so, any excuse he makes sounds fucking stupid.

  14. Medical marijuana is mostly a great aid, and recreational is ok for many people. Still need to be careful though if people are prone to paranoia or psychosis.

Sessions is probably trying to distract by going hard at one of his pet(ty) causes.

  15. Jeff Sessions is a pitiful person. He needs to go home and retire and let his servants take care of him. There is something wrong with his mind; he can't remember anything – or at least that's what he pretends –

  17. let's not forget some of the other reasons he's doing it. like nixon, jeff sessions wants to crack down on marijuana in order to jail black people and left wingers. pretty sure he's not gonna go after his pot smoking buddies in the klan, or the meth heads in middle america.

  18. Sessions and his cronies did NOT buy in to weed stocks – they were to busy building and running their "for profit" prisons and filling them! Then when the good ole boys turned around and weed was legal!!!! Damn, they NEVER thought that would happen so they NEVER bought in to the startup companies!! Now they want to trot out the bullshit propaganda films and rhetoric of the 1930's and get people all worked up – not going to work Jeffy. I think the more people turn towards weed they will no longer need the big pharmaceutical companies as much and all the shares they have in those companies stocks will only be worth wiping your wrinkled butts with!!

  25. Don't forget meth. Washington DC didn't even recognize and issue with meth. The West Coast begged for help from the DEA and what was the reply? We'll be right out there to help you with your marijuana problem. Wasn't until meth showed up at the Ivy League colleges did WDC even think about dealing with the problem.
