This is Why Republicans Are Going to Lose The Culture War – Politics Video

A google video leak shows just how biased they really are but even after numerous examples of social media being biased against conservatives Republican politicians do almost nothing to combat this.

A new forecast from Nate Silver shows that Democrats will take the House. As republicans ignore the bias from massive tech giants they are free to push far left ideology unabated.

So long as “social justice warriors” and the far left reap benefits from these tech companies they will never call them out for manipulating public discourse.

  1. The Repubs deserve to lose. They are useless. Trump gave America a last breath.

  2. There is one thing you gotta think about Tim. For the most part Conservatives actually have something that resembles honor and are old school. The Left does not…

  3. I don't know if I'd worry about Trump and the Republicans being tech savvy and understanding the importance of social media. Their Russian handlers have proven more than adept in those areas.

  4. I don't know. I think there are a lot more Republicans out there on social media. I am one. Actually I'm more center right. But I've posted a lot of conservative stuff and have not been banned or shadow banned for my political beliefs. You can bet there are conservatives out there who don't really admit that they are. They see what's going on with the far left and the Democrats politicians inciting violence in the news. They don't want to deal with that or fear for their safety, do they don't or won't admit that publicly.

  6. I have to disagree that the attacks on conservative voices will make them lose seats. I see more and more people #WalkAway because they're sick of the monopoly the left has on social media and entertainment. I think everyone is seeing through it. They still might gain a lot of seats, but it won't be because of the censorship imo

  7. Regulating these internet giants goes against the republican roots as corporate cock-suckers. They will never do it.

  8. What is seen as far right now was seen as a centrist position in the past. That is how far left we have gone. Conservatives don't conserve anything. The left pushes clown world and the right just wants clown world to recite right wing values.

  10. And then you have me, the guy who actively fact checks these issues for my friends and calls them out when they are spreading fake shit. They don't like being wrong much, but they are better informed. Just wish I could convince social democrat friends of the massive mistake they are backing.

  11. I will at the very least give you that the internet representation among non-leftist/non-Democrat voices are those who also have little to no interest in courting the GOP as it is, with about a half-dozen notable exceptions who are still only lukewarm to the party (Shapiro, Watson, Crowder, Posobiec). And the actual politicians have practically NO social media reach, other than The Donald himself.

And I personally want both parties to burn in hell, but the GOP would do itself a lot of good if they gave more attention to Justin Amash.

  12. The Starks were Republicans, the Lanisters were Democrats (except for the dwarf, who's a moderate), and the Wildlings were Libertarians.
After the Republicans martyr themselves to the Democrats, the blood lust of the Left will cause them to turn on each other, while the Libertarians argue about whether Stop Signs are mind control, man!
Meanwhile, in the real world, little will change.

  14. Sadly at this point, the only course I can see that might help the situation is just to classify all the social media services / sites as publishers, no longer as platforms. Once they start getting pummeled with a variety of lawsuits, perhaps they'll begin to be more neutral. Probably not, but I still see it as the best shot… although I'm always willing to hear other courses of action or arguments of course.

  15. Republicans are afraid of the media if they step out of line they will be destroyed. The brilliant Donald Trump is the only Republican capable to do battle with the Mockingbird media and walk away stronger than before.

  17. There are always anti-trust laws available that allow US government to split companies that are in their nature monopolistic in the several smaller companies. This almost happened to Microsoft during Clinton administration. This could be done to Google, Twitter and Facebook.

  18. Do you think liberal political people are more web say than conservative political people? Or is it simply all social media platforms, and search engines censorship is to liberal?
Why is it ok for liberals to say 'social media platforms are allowed to censor conservatives, because it's a private business, yet Christian bakers have to bake gay wedding cakes?

  19. "It's because of the area code you used."  Right…  While I don't watch Alex Jones, he confronted Marco Rubio and asked him what he thinks of this type of behavior.  Rubio responded "you mean from China?"  No Rubio, you are either playing dumb, don't know, or you don't care.  Alex Jones, regardless of what you think of him, had a valid question.  He was mocked and ridiculed afterwards.  The left and right are pretty much all wealthy.  While the populace bicker between this "us vs them" mentality, these millionaires become billionaires in a short time span.  They should be held accountable.

  21. I'm at the 5 minute mark, Tim, are you saying that because conservatives won't lie and doctor footage, that they'll lose the culture war? Don't you think that to act like the far left to "win" would be a pyrrhic victory?

  22. Tim your observation is right-on but not new. When Obama ran, they were using the hell out of the web while the GOP STILL SOLEY focused on grannys putting flyers in stormdoors.
Trump has showed us one BIG THING- The Left actually believe in their positions, the Right (most of them) are simply playing us, no heart in the game.

  27. Maybe I can explain, the use of a platform that is privately owned is a contractual issue and not a free speech issue. The private property of a person is an extention of the person, so for example, in the case of damage to property, compensation is paid to the owner, not to the property.

To impose a requirement that a privately owned platform may be used to broadcast views the owner dissents with would be like imposing a requirement that people may be used to broadcast views they dissent with.

If, for example, the person contracts to broadcast a view they dissent with for pay, then they can be held to that agreement (e.g. a paid actor for a commercial). Rights can be traded freely. Otherwise it is forced speech, which contradicts the principle of free speech.

In that context your argument amounts to winning the culture war against free speech requires abandoning the principles of free speech to preserve free speech. That isn't as persuasive as you might think.

  28. Republicans are losing the culture war.

However, actual nationalists, Trump supporters, rightwingers, people who actually oppose the left instead of beg for its approval – they're going to win the culture war. Watch.

This misconception that Republicans and Trump supporters/nationalists are the same thing, is a forced antifactual meme from the left.

Don't fall for it. See where the #WalkAway crowd are going. It's not a march to the neocon camp.

  31. Yes social media plays a huge role, that is why they are censoring anything they can get their grubby hands on that goes against the left, even the walkaway founder, a leftist.
I doubt for any longer though.
